As many are planning out what to make this Halloween – why not try to at least make your treats healthier, right? Especially for the kids. Here are my favorite recipes that I have created over the years for brands that I work with, or for the kids that I adore in my life, and for my one of many…sweet tooth’s. Fall is my favorite cooking season so make sure you check out all my other delicious Fall Recipes!
I wanted to share some (of many) easy Halloween treats from www.monimeals.com that are healthier so you won’t have to feel deprived and can still enjoy this time of year. Halloween is one of my favorite times so I am going to find smart ways to indulge but still feel great at the same time. You can too.
Remember TWO words: “FUN-SIZE” and NOT “King Size” this time if year.
Vanilla Bean Popcorn Crispy Squares – popcorn meets rice crispy treat with a vanilla bean background.
Healthy Pumpkin Muffins with Halloween Sprinkles – A perfect Fall muffin all-season long.
One “Spooky” Healthy Protein Shake – make a healthy protein shake and top it with 1-3 pieces of your favorite “mini” size candy bars.
A “Spook-tacular” Healthy Chili Squash O’ Lantern Meal – healthy and very very festive!
Easy Crispy Rice Bars – not your typical cripsy treat… a secret ingredient.
Birds Nest Treats- this is for the kids, they love it and they look like “brains”… enough said!
Protein Pumpkin Bars -loved by thousands!
“Lighter” Dessert Nachos – so fun with banana, homemade cinnamon and sugar Gluten-free tortilla chips, whipped cream, and mini chocolate chips all-in-one.
MONI TIP: Make sure you fuel up with a healthy balance of many veggies, fruits, protein, and healthy fats and carbs so you do not over due it.
A great snack to have laying around is KIND Bars for a healthy alternative.
Have a “hauntingly” fun Halloween.
See you on your next workout!
